What is an Assignment?

Updated: 07, Tue, 2023 03:52 PM

An Assignment is a specific instance of a Participant completing your Activity within a Run on Positly.

A Participant will complete only one Assignment within your Run unless otherwise specified by changing the Max completions per participant.

When Participants see your Activity listing they will get the opportunity to Accept the Assignment.

If they Accept the Assignment, they start completing the Demographic pre-survey.

If they complete the Demographic pre-survey we will redirect them to your main Activity.

If they complete the Activity successfully you will redirect them to the Feedback survey using the Completion link.

At this point they will be marked as having Completed the Assignment and have the opportunity to provide Feedback which you can view on your Dashboard.

Please note:

  • At any point a Participant can choose to Return the Assignment.
  • If a Participant takes too long (Estimated average time x 3 + 3 minutes) to complete the Assignment they will be marked as Abandoned and not be able to be Approved.
  • If a Participant does not reach the Feedback survey but still submits the Assignment for approval then they will be Rejected.
    • You can reverse a rejection on the Participants tab within your Run.
